You might know that “Will and Grace” is a classic Emmy Award-winning sitcom – and the first TV show to feature homosexuals as principal characters. During its eight year run, gay lawyer Will Truman (Eric McCormack) and straight interior designer Grace Adler (Debra Messing) proved that best friends trump gender and sexual preference. The set of the New York City apartment in which the roommates lived is now on permanent display in the Emerson College Library.

You should know that “Saving Grace” is a TV crime drama on TNT in which Academy Award winner Holly Hunter stars as a bad-girl Oklahoma City detective. It may be uneven at times, but offers food for thought about the role of faith in the modern world as well as a fascinating look at the city in the wake of the 1995 bombing.

You should also know that “Saving Grace” is a charming British film starring Academy Award winner Brenda Blethyn as a down-on-her-luck widow who turns her garden into an illegal cash crop to solve her financial woes. Talk about trying to live the high life!
