For Her 50th Birthday, Colleen Wainwright’s Raising $50,000 for WriteGirl — and Shaving Her Head!

Write GirlWe love a good challenge, and we were so psyched about Colleen Wainwright’s 50-day mission to raise $50,000 for WriteGirl – one of our favorite organizations — by her 50th birthday.

Colleen WainwrightWell, her birthday is September 13 and she’s already raised the money and will be shaving her head just as she promised she’d do if she reached her goal. (She Photoshopped a picture to give us all a preview!) So maybe we can help her reach $60,000? She still has another eight days, and that will give her an even bigger challenge for her 60th birthday!

Because we believe that female energy has the power to change the world (just wait till you hear our announcement next week about the exciting initiative we’re getting involved with!), StyleSubstanceSoul is making a donation and hopes you’ll contribute to this great cause as well. Colleen’s even offering some very cool prizes when you donate!

    I haven’t shaved yet—that’s all Photoshop magic (mostly to get me used to the idea!)

    There are still 7 days to give, and even tickets available to the head-shaving party—which, I assure you, will be a hootenanny!
