From the Heart of NYC
Who says New Yorkers don't have heart? In the middle of bustling 18th Street lies a tiny little shop with a beat of its own. A heart beat.
are a couple of our favorites, but we'd be touched to receive any of them.
Surprise your special someone with one of these beauties. We bet they'll thank you from the bottom of their heart. |

| Showcasing our Showcasers |
Since Showcaser Mellisa Essenburg is giving a lucky Subscriber a pair of her highly-coveted earrings, we thought you'd want to know more about her and her fantastic company, Chinook Jewelry.
A San Diego-based Speech-Language Pathologist with an alter-ego as a jewelry designer (we can attest that she's a pro at both), Mellisa makes every piece of her jewelry from hand, right down to the ceramic beads and pendants.
She's also extremely generous, and is offering Subscribers a 15% discount on orders of $20 or more on her website. Just use code stylesubstancesoul when you're checking out.
Hubbies, take note! |

| Just for Subscribers |
We've kept our laptops open to the Chinook Jewelry site for the past week as hints to the hubbies for Valentine's Day. (Subtlety was never our strong point.) So when Mellisa Essenburg -- whose gorgeous designs adorn the pages -- offered us a pair of earrings to give away, we jumped. Since none of us can win them, we've been taking turns leaving them on our kitchen tables, and saying, "Aren't these so pretty?" Hello?? Hubby???
Chinook is known for its modern and distinctive ceramic pendants and handcrafted art jewelry. We're thrilled to have them in our Showcase section, and even more thrilled that Mellisa is giving away a pair of earrings exclusively to a StyleSubstanceSoul.com subscriber. The earrings are handcrafted heart charms glazed in petal pink on sterling silver ear wires and handmade by Mellisa herself. Consider it a Valentine's Day gift from someone who cares.
Winners will be selected on Februart 14, 2009 and will be notified by return email. One entry per person, please.
