1) Sunset Beach is quieter, less commercially developed and in my opinion has slightly better beach. Its major drawback (or protection) was that little drawbridge. My recommendation for small children and those seeking a quieter vacation.. 2) Ocean Isle has more restaurants, bars, shops, arcade etc.
