Does Detention Sphere work on tokens?

Detention sphere can exile all tokens of the same name when it comes into play. If a token isn’t given a specific name, then its name is just its creature type. So Lingering Souls makes two tokens named “Spirit” for instance. Tokens that come into play after Detention Sphere are unaffected.
How does Detention Sphere work in Commander?
When Detention Sphere enters the battlefield, you may exile target nonland permanent not named Detention Sphere and all other permanents with the same name as that permanent. When Detention Sphere leaves the battlefield, return the exiled cards to the battlefield under their owner’s control.

Can you detain a commander?
Yes. There is never an instance where you can cast your commander from the command zone if previously you choose to have it be temporarily exiled by a permanent. Once you make that decision, you can only get your commander back if the permanent that temporarily exiled your commander leaves the battlefield.
