How is Morzine connected to the Portes du Soleil?
Morzine and the Portes du Soleil are linked by a variety of different lifts. With such a huge area to ski, 650km of pistes across the whole of the Portes du Soliel it is the largest connected ski area in Europe. With 197 lifts across the whole of the Portes du Soleil 49 of these are located in Morzine and Les Gets.
When does Morzine close for the winter?
Morzine will close on Sunday 13th of April 2020 if snow conditions are sufficient. The estimated opening date for the Avoriaz area for the 19/20 winter season is Friday 13nd of December 2019.
Where to go mountain biking in Morzine?
Morzine is perfectly located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil mountain biking area. Indeed, from the centre of the village, you can easily access the Morzine-Les Gets area by taking the Pleney gondola or go in the opposite direction and head to the Super Morzine gondola, which will take you to the Super Morzine area.
