The End of Course Test (EOCT, EOC, or EOC Test) is an academic assessment conducted in many states by the State Board of Education. Georgia, for example, tests from the ninth to twelfth grades, and North Carolina tests for any of the four core class subjects (math, science, social studies, and English).
What is the EOC test in Texas?
The STAAR EOC assessments test students for college readiness and mastery of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for each course. The end-of-course assessments only assess the TEKS for a given course. STAAR is timed, giving students up to four hours to complete each exam.
