The Subclass 457 Visa was the main visa available for skilled migrants who wished to work in Australia with a sponsoring employer. As of the 18th of Marth 2018, the 457 visa has been retired and replaced with the new Subclass 482 – Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) Visa.
